I’ve Got Gigs, They’re Multiplyin’

You're the one that I want, I think! Come to my show!

Yeah, I know, cheesy blog title, but I’m a dad now. Bad jokes are my gimmick.

With my first solo EP “Artifacts” at press (Teaser preview video here!), I’m gearing up for my first shows in almost a year. In September and October, I have five total performances lined up.

September 5th, I have two gigs in my old stomping grounds Owensboro, KY. First, I’ll be playing lead guitar at East Bridge Art and Music Festival in my bestie’s band All Around the Dinner Table at noon. This is a free, all day event out by the river, so make sure the Bad Apple Records Showcase is part of your plans. That night, I’m organizing the official acoustic after show at CYO Brewing. I’m playing a solo set along with sets by my labelmate Andy Barnett of Why They Came and old pal Eric Delong of The Apprentice. This show is also free and starts early at 7pm! There’s a good chance I’ll have a few copies of the new record with me, so come pick yours up!

September 12th will be my official CD Release Party. I’m having a private show at my house in Lexington with my friends Fred Birch, Perry Ritter, and Jon Russelburg joining me. It will also be streamed live on my Youtube channel, so put it on your iCal and watch!

Wednesday October 21st, I’m taking part in Lexington Songwriters Collective’s “Songwriters in the Round” event. There will be two other artists TBA, and we will each take turns playing a five song set. This takes place at The Daily Offerings Roastery coffeehouse downtown, which is a really cool venue.

Halloween night, I’ll be hosting another private event at my house – a stop on the first Bad Apple Records House Show Tour! I’m playing a short set supporting my labelmates Jon Russelburg, Brandon from All Around the Dinner Table, and Andy from Whytheycame. Maybe we’ll dress up too, and do another live feed on the Youtubes.

I’ve been working really hard on my sets, and hyping the events. I hope you can come out for a show if you’re in the area. Thanks everyone who’s supported this project – we’re just getting started!
